About Ann Lei

Hiii, I am Ann!

I'm currently a Product Designer at MSCI creating and leading Fintech solutions.
‍
I specialize in solving complex problems by creating simple and intuitive ideas, collaborating with teams and stakeholders, and being attentive and pixel-perfect in my designs.

My intended designs create something that is more than just using data to improve business efficiency but also lay people’s experience. I believe my strong empathy for users is the key that makes me a better designer every single day.

I studied Human-Computer Interaction + Design for my Master’s degree at the University of Washington. I also have an interdisciplinary background in Visual Communication Design and programming.

I love photography, videography, and motion graphics on the side. I also enjoy getting away from my desk to go work out, hike, and walk in nature. Besides all of that, I am passionate about personal growth. Mental health is extremely important to me. I wake up at 5 am, take a cold shower, and work out every day. Jocko Willink once said "discipline equals freedom" and I want to have all the freedom to do what I love – UX design – to make the world a better place.
